Duel is a competitive photo platform developed by Daredevil Project, a Bristol based startup. It allows players to snap photos, challenge their friends to out do them and judge other people’s submissions. In Duel, for every image you take, you must judge somebody else's duel - a pair of pictures where you choose your favourite. Think competitive SnapChat meets QuizUp! Built to be deeply social, a live feed shows duels from your friends, groups you're in and people you follow, always presented with the same framework of a pair of photos for you to choose between. Revenue is generated through in app purchases of filters, stickers and Emoji as well as brand partnerships and sponsored/advertising duels. Duel will be soft launched in the UK on the 19th of January with a number of YouTube and Instagram stars, with a global roll out in March. Daredevil Project was founded by World Record breaking Adventurer, Paul Archer whilst driving around the world in a London Black Cab.
